The wink to imperfection in this capture is sometimes missed by the casual onlooker. If you glance closely, you’ll see that not only is the flower looking a little worse for wear, but the grasshopper is missing a leg and an antenna. It’s a subtle, sweet reminder that we chase perfection too often - when we don’t need to. We are each perfect, even with our “less-thans”, our foibles, our shortcomings and our perceived limitations.
